Ted Wehking, NV 2005
Ted's Excellent Adventure
January 30, 2006

Ted Wehking waited 27 years to draw a Nevada elk tag. He made the most of it, taking one of the biggest bulls to ever roam the state. Ted's non-typical American elk officially scored 415-6/8 B&C, which places it as the second-largest non-typical ever recorded in Nevada. Ted says it was the highlight of his hunting career, which was punctuated by being able to have his two boys with him the day it was taken.

Read more about Ted's great bull in the "Beating the Odds" section of the Spring 2006 issue of Fair Chase magazine.
