Robert Fairchild, NT 2005
Seeing Double
December 4, 2007

Bob Fairchild was hunting near Bekere Lake, Northwest Territories in fall of 2005 when he had some incredible fortune. He had just pulled the trigger on a great Central Canada Barren Ground Caribou when another giant jumped over the top of its fallen comrade. Bob downed the other bull as well. In less than ten seconds, Bob had not only taken two great caribou, but the LARGEST TWO Central Canada Barren Ground Caribou in the entire 26th Awards Period! His largest bull, a 406-2/8 giant, received the 1st Award at B&C's 26th Big Game Awards. His other trophy, scoring 392-2/8, received the 2nd Award. His story, along with 90 other incredible stories about the largest animals entered in the 26th Awards Program, is available in B&C's 26th Big Game Awards. This book was just released this fall.
