Brad Hinz, ND 2007
A Little on the Heavy Side
September 11, 2007

This massive bull was taken by Brad Hinz on an early season rifle tag in North Dakota. The hunt lasted all of half an hour. With main beams resembling tree trunks, this bull shows that North Dakota has the potential to grow some true monsters.

The North Dakota state record, taken by Kevin D. Fugere in Golden Valley County in 1997, scores 449-7/8. It currently ranks #3 all-time for non-typical American elk in B&C's Records of North American Big Game.
