Boone and Crockett's Education Program has become an affiliate representative of the Montana Space Grant Consortium (MTSGC)
We are delighted to announce that Boone and Crockett's Education Program has become an affiliate representative of the Montana Space Grant Consortium (MTSGC).
We are excited to collaborate with MTSGC on future research workshops and to support the advancement of NASA-related fields and opportunities in Montana, particularly in STEM and Conservation Education. The consortium partners with academic institutions, industry, and educational organizations to offer students and faculty hands-on projects, internships, workshops, conferences, and grant funding.
MTSGC's diverse range of Academic Affiliates, including the University of Montana, Montana State University, Montana Learning Center, Museum of the Rockies, ExplorationWorks Museum, and various community and tribal colleges, allows the program to reach a broad population of Montana students. This partnership will also provide our educators at the Rasmuson Wildlife Conservation Center with opportunities to attend and host research workshops on topics such as using drones to monitor invasive plant species, remote piloted aircraft mapping, astronomy, and other STEM-based programs.
We look forward to the opportunities this collaboration will bring.
