Mike Briggs hired as new TRM Ranch Manager

Below is the first post from our new TRM Ranch Blog managed by Mike and Kadie Briggs.

July 27, 2010 – We thought it would be best to briefly introduce everyone to Mike and his family right off the bat. Mike is the new ranch manager for the TRM Ranch and has brought us (his family) to join him in this new life. Mike was born and raised in South West Montana. He comes from a generational ranching family, and the love of the lifestyle runs through his blood. He is a Lima High School Graduate, a BYU-Idaho Graduate in Animal Science/Ag Business, and is now using his time and talents at what he loves most. I am his support team and adoring wife, Kadie. I too, grew up in South Western Montana on my father's ranch, where being the youngest of 4 girls, I learned to work alongside my dad. I am passionate about the lifestyle and the time it affords us to be together as a family. Mike and I have been married for 12 years now and into this union we have added four children. They mean the world to us, and we love being in a situation where they can work alongside of us and learn the values that hard work can bring.

Our children are KwinLee, Spencer, Hyrum, and Reed. They are excited for school to start here in Dupuyer and love the idea of the small school life. Right now, they are spending the last days of their summer enjoying helping us on the ranch and playing in any water that I will let them. They are all anticipating the opportunity to see a Grizzly Bear as well. We hope that this blog will keep all interested parties informed as to the "going ons" of the TRM Ranch. Our intention is to update it weekly with news, stories, pictures of the ranch, or simple histories of the area. We hope you enjoy what you read and would love to hear comments.
