Alexis Crowder (age 9)
Lauderdale County, TN
165 Green

Hunter's Father's Statement:

Alexis and I planned on going hunting early Monday morning but due to work we were unable to go until 10. So we suited up and drove to the farm in Henning that we hunt on a regular basis.

It was sleeting and raining when we crawled into Ally's box blind After about 30 minutes a beautiful little doe came trotting across the field and went in beside the box. All Ally would say is man I wish I had my Doe license. I told her don't worry to get ready that all season this doe has had a big spike following her and he will make her a great first deer.

Sitting there waiting 10 minutes later that seemed like an eternity. I think I was more anxious than her. Ally said Daddy here he comes I see him. I said where where Oh my God. This beautiful Monster was walking mid field following the does path. After several Grunts he finally paused Broadside. Before I could tell her to take him BOOM she dropped the hammer and he hit the ground spinning. All I could say was oh my God Oh my God with a few excited expletives mixed in Ally's comment was man I'm glad I didn't have my doe license. Multiple high fives fist bumps and hugs later. We walked 72 yards to examine a gorgeous Typical scoring 17 points green scored at 165.
