Ken Markham 2008
Langlade County, Wisconsin
August 10, 2009

I just thought I would share a picture of the deer I harvested this season. I took this guy in Langlade County, Wisconsin, in the Nicolet National Forest area. The inside spread is 19 2/16", and he has 13 points. The tallest points are about 9" in height, and the brow tines are about 4 4/8" from the beam up. The taxidermist that did my mount measured him at 171, but I'm not sure how acurate his measurment is. The guy did a great job and I'm pretty proud of this guy after looking for him for 30 years.

I never thought I would have an opportunity like this hunting in our area, and the guy that owns the cabin has been there a long time. His family has been hunting this area for many years and this is the biggest buck he has ever seen taken from here. It was a pretty emotional day for the cabin owner. My buckbrought tears to his eyes each time he looked at him.
