Big, Bigger, and Off the Chart
The 60's
February 16, 2004

Here are some huge bucks from the old days. The first was killed in 1968 by my father, Rick Anderson, in Colorado. It is a 34" wide 8x8. The second was killed by Lee Dunning in Montana while my dad was working for him in 1959. They had a bet going to see who would get the biggest buck. My dad shot a 32" 5x6 so he thought he had it in the bag then Lee shot this monster. He is about 36" wide 9x13. The third buck is from a newspaper clipping I found in an old album. The paper is from Colorado and other than that I have no information. It was from the 1960's. I was hoping you might be able to provide some information.
