December 22, 2008

Better known for records book pronghorn, mule deer, and American elk, the Cowboy state does produce some exceptional whitetails, especially on the eastern half of the state. John Jerzykowski took this buck, reported to be just shy of the B&C minimum on 2/8/08.

Currently there are 13 typical entries listed from Wyoming with the state record scoring 191-5/8, taken from Albany County in 1986 by Robert D. Ross.
