Pending New World's Record Pronghorn
October 18, 2012

A pronghorn taken in 2011 from Washoe County, Nevada has been accepted with an official entry score of 95-6/8 points B&C.

Hunter, Stan S. Jaksick is awaiting panel verification, which is the procedure for any pending World's Records, on what looks to be a pronghorn 6/8-inch larger than any other pronghorn in B&C records.

There are two bucks currently tied as the World's Record pronghorn at 95-inches. David Meyer took a pronghorn from Mohave County, Arizona in 2002, and Dylan Woods found his buck in Coconino County, Arizona in 2000.

Jaksick Buck key measurements:

Horn Length: R 17-7/8 L 18-2/8
Prongs: R 6-7/8 L 6-4/8
Bases: R 7-3/8 L 7-3/8

The state of Arizona dominates the top 20 pronghorn entries of all-time, but now Nevada may own the World's Record. All of the top 20 score 91-4/8 and higher.
