Brad Jerman, OH 2004
New Ohio Record
June 5, 2005

B&C associate Brad Jerman made some big news in the midwest and across the country when he bagged this giant buck. He had seen it the night before, and made the shot of his life the next morning with his crossbow.
The drying period just ended, and the preliminary official score of this huge buck is 201-1/8 B&C. If accepted by B&C at that score after review, it would become the new Ohio state record and would stand at #11 all-time for typical whitetail.
Brad writes, "I am very blessed to have had an opportunity on such a magnificent animal. I was glad to have a very ethical kill also. It ran only 25 yards after the shot, and expired within ten seconds."
Read more about this awesome trophy in the spring issue of Fair Chase, due out in February.

UPDATE: Brad Jerman's trophy was accepted on February 2, 2005 at 201-1/8. It is now the 11th-largest typical whitetail ever recorded by B&C.
