This is one of the biggest mountain grizzlies ever taken in the Yukon. It's skull green scored at 25 5/16. His hide squared at 10'. His teeth were worn right down near to his gums, and his age is estimated 25-30 yrs. A remarkable bear for an interier mountain grizzly.

Hunter Eric Rath shot this bear at 20 yrds. with the help of his guide, Barry Baumbach.

An official measurement will be taken soon, and age of the bear will be verified in Feb.

TW: The largest grizzly on record from the Yukon scores 25-9/16 and was taken by Gene A. Ott from Anvik River in 1999. The second largest scores 25-5/16.
