Arizona Strip 1962
STOLEN!!!
February 6, 2004

I have been a B&C member for quite some time (15 years maybe?) and have been looking at your pictures on your website for the past year or two. I don't know why I have never noticed this before, until today. I was looking under your "Trophy Watch" tab and noticed a comment about "has your trophy been stolen". Of course this caught my eye regarding a buck that I have great interest in.

I am sending you pictures of the non-typical mule deer buck that my grandfather, Oscar Brooksby, killed in 1962 on the Arizona Strip. He had the buck stolen off his porch in Fredonia, Arizona, that same year. I have attached a picture that may be helpful in identifying this buck. I have always been curious if the person who stole this great buck ever entered it into the record books. I know this is a long shot but I would sure love to have this buck remain in the family if at all possible. If I can give you any information that could help you with this search, I will do whatever I can do. Thanks for your great organization and the help with maybe locating this buck.

Awesome buck Kevin! We'll check the records and see what we come up with.

IF ANYONE HAS ANY INFORMATION ABOUT THIS BUCK CONTACT US HERE AT TROPHY WATCH OR CALL 406-542-1888 ext. 208.
