Abed Radwan 2004
White Foam and Slobbering
August 27, 2004

Abed Radwan was hunting on the lower Alaska Peninsula in 2004 when this nice trophy descended from the mountain. It was angry and raging, as it had just left a fight with another bear. Its face had both old and new scars, and it was shaking its head back and forth, and roaring at everything. White foam was slobbering around his mouth.

Radwan let the .460 Weatherby thunder from his vantage point, and heard a clear sold hit. The boar, which was approximately 177 yards away, dropped instantly. The 400-grain Barns-X was perfect for the job.

Its skull roughly scores 27 inches, and the hide squared over 9 feet without stretching.
