Development Committee Update - 2025

A Note of Thanks

First of all, I want to thank everyone for your incredible support over the past year. Our fundraising programs have been a huge success, and it’s all thanks to you!

Auction Highlights

Last year’s Annual Meeting Auction brought in more than $234,000—an amazing result that helps us continue our mission. The Auction Committee, co-chaired by Mike Opitz and Mike Evans, is already hard at work on this year’s event. The annual auction is truly the highlight of their year, and they’ve secured some exciting live auction items so far, including:

  • Sitatunga, Hippo, Red Lechwe & Common Reedbuck Hunt in Namibia's Caprivi Strip
  • NASCAR Race Package
  • Weekend at West Point
  • “Adventure Bound” Wolverine Sculpture by Tim Shinabarger
  • Zac Brown Band Concert in Las Vegas
  • Bison Hunt on the Fort Peck Reservation in Montana
  • Tour of Sagamore Hill – Theodore Roosevelt’s Home and the Camp Fire Club
  • Mexican Feral Fighting Bull Hunt in Nuevo León
  • Columbia Blacktail Deer Hunt in Northern California
  • Red Stag Hunt in New Zealand
  • Spain Mouflon Sheep Hunt

It’s shaping up to be another great auction—you won’t want to miss it!

Fall Giving

Our fall solicitation went out in October, and this year we’re offering a special thank-you gift: a Boyt vest with the Boone and Crockett logo for donations of $200 or more. If you haven’t sent in your reply form yet, there’s still time to get yours!

More Ways to Support

There are several ways you can continue to make an impact:

  • The Wilderness Warrior Society  With a gift of $125,000 or more, you’ll be honored as a member and receive a bronze of Theodore Roosevelt and other recognition items. Members are also invited to a special dinner during the Annual Meeting.
  • The George Bird Grinnell Society  Join with an initial gift of $2,500 or more to the Boone and Crockett Club Foundation endowment. After that, additional gifts of $500 or more will build toward higher recognition levels.
  • Guns for Conservation Program  Support the Club by donating firearms, sporting collectibles, wildlife art, hunting books, and more. Proceeds go directly to the Foundation endowment. We partner with Sportsman’s Legacy to make sure every step—from planning to transfer and transport—is handled professionally and with care.

Looking Ahead

As we approach the end of the year, I hope you’ll consider one of these giving opportunities. Every contribution helps us continue the important work of the Boone and Crockett Club and Foundation.

Thank you again for your support—I look forward to seeing everyone in Phoenix soon!

Warm regards,
Johnny Evans
