A good number of Club members took time from their schedules to make a trip to Washington earlier this month. On Capitol Hill, at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, and at agency headquarters around DC, they met with congressional and administration leaders and policymakers to advance the Club’s conservation policy agenda.

As fall approaches, the conservation education program staff is switching gears from warm-weather maintenance projects and summer camp activities to agency retreats, hunter education events, and overnight school field trips!

The Boone and Crockett Club University Program is designed to provide science-based knowledge from seasoned wildlife professionals and educators to college graduates in the wildlife field to better prepare the graduates for the responsible and wise management of wildlife in the future.

On September 9, the Boone and Crockett Club hosted a press conference in Washington, DC, to release the findings from the Poach and Pay research project, which is the most comprehensive evaluation of illegal wildlife crime in the U.S.
