The Boone and Crockett Club University Program is designed to provide science-based knowledge from seasoned wildlife professionals and educators to college graduates in the wildlife field to better prepare the graduates for the responsible and wise management of wildlife in the future. 

Boone and Crockett Fellows Program

The Boone and Crockett Wildlife Conservation Program supports graduate students in wildlife conservation and related fields through our Fellows Program.  A Boone and Crockett Fellow is an undergraduate or graduate student, or postdoctoral associate, who is supported by Boone and Crockett funding and/or advised by a Boone and Crockett Professor or Professional Member.

As urban areas increase in size because of human population growth, habitat for wildlife is decreasing. Although black bears generally avoid areas of high human use, they have discovered how to exploit some urban areas to obtain resources.
