(February 18, 2022) – The Boone and Crockett Club welcomes the U.S. Senate’s confirmation of U.S. Department of Agriculture Under Secretary Homer Wilkes and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Director Martha Williams. Dr. Wilkes was sworn in February 11 as the USDA Under Secretary for Natural Resources and Environment and will oversee the U.S. Forest Service.

It is with sadness that the Pope and Young Club shares the news that our founder, Glenn St. Charles, has passed away. Glenn St. Charles, passed away September 19th at his home in Seattle, Washington, after a short illness. He was 98.

Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar and Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack have named Bob Model, long-standing member and chairman of Government Affairs for the Boone and Crockett Club, and seven other Club members to serve on a new Wildlife and Hunting Heritage Conservation Council.
