Leuopld & Stevens is one of many companies and organizations supporting the Boone and Crockett Club's 30th Big Game Awards, scheduled for August 1-3, 2019, in Springfield, Missouri.

The triennial event is being hosted by Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's and will feature a public exhibit of more than 140 recently taken, Top-Five B&C trophies from across North America, including records book specimens taken by young sportsmen age 16 and under. The exhibit is within the Wonders of Wildlife National Museum & Aquarium in Springfield and is open through August 3.

"Collaborative partnerships for the common good is what has made the North American Model of Wildlife Conservation the success that it is," said Boone and Crockett Club President Timothy C. Brady. "These awards are a celebration of this Model, and the sportsman, agencies, professional wildlife managers, and our partners from industry who have kept it vibrant and paying dividends."

The theme of this year's event is, North American Big Game, More and Healthier Than Ever, under the watchful eye of sportsmen. The Club's three-year recording period (2016-2018) certified 5,079 total entries including one new World's Record and an astounding 43 new state and provincial records.

"No optics company does more for conservation than Leupold & Stevens," said Shane Meisel, Director of Marketing for Leupold & Stevens, Inc. "Like the Boone and Crockett Club, we understand just how intertwined fair chase and conservation really are. The Big Game Awards are a celebration of the many individuals and companies that have come together and worked hard to ensure the future of successful wildlife management in the United States. We're proud to once again support such an event."

Brady explained, "Leupold is our longest standing triennial awards sponsor. Outdoor products manufacturers that make a living offering products to sportsmen often don't get the recognition they deserve for all they do for conservation, but they should. Our founder, Theodore Roosevelt knew this all too well, which is why he reached out to industry for support when laying the groundwork for a new conservation model."

Leupold joins Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's, the Wild Sheep Foundation, Federal Premium Ammunition, Dallas Safari Club, Buck Knives, the Mule Deer Foundation, NRA, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, the Robert M. Lee Foundation, YETI, and Remington as 30th Big Game Awards sponsors.
