Sparwood, BC
Big Air Bighorn
September 6, 2005

This ram appears to have met with the same fate as another story we ran about a moose that was hung up in powerline a few months ago. Unlike the moose, which was actually hoisted up the line when it was raised by a power company, this ram appears to have hooked his horn on the line when walking to close to it at a point where the line ran very close to a cliff. The ram then slid down the line and ended up in his high-elevation final resting place. Location and date are currently unknown here at B&C.

UPDATE: Several sources have come forward with information on this, all pointing to the famous Line Creek Mine, near Sparwood, BC. This area is very well known for producing large rams.
