Mark Sorge, ON 2007
Massive Ontario Non-typical Whitetail
October 22, 2010

UPDATE: Mark had his buck officially scored at 240-0/8. It currently ranks as the 2nd largest non-typical whitetail in the FROW (Foundation for the Recognition of Ontario Wildlife) record book.

Mark Sorge took this giant non-typical whitetail while on a hunt in Ontario this past fall. He made downed the monarch with a shotgun slug, and notes that the carcass weighed 248 lbs after five days of hanging. He reports that the deer rough scored 234-5/8, but feels that it may go up once officially measured due to the complexity of the rack. What tremendous mass!
