Zachary Saum 2010
Ohio typical monster
December 13, 2010

Zac was hunting his family farm as he does year in and year out. As always, he was hoping to take a good buck. A deer stepped out at around 100 yards right after morning light. He tried a grunt to get a better look when he detected another deer destroying a nearby tree. While he couldn't judge the buck, the effects of his rack on the tree made it's sex readily apparent. A quick look at the rack confirmed it was a shooter and 20 seconds later, a well placed arrow was on it's way. His father and a friend joined him for the tracking job and a few minutes later a field-judged 150 class buck had grown into a trophy of a lifetime. No official score has been reported as the 60 day drying period is still a month out but there is no doubt that this buck will grace the pages Boone and Crockett Club's Records of North American Big Game.
