Chief Executive Officer
Tony A. Schoonen - ext. 206 

Tony was born and raised in Butte, Montana and put himself through college running river trips for his father. As a senior at the University of Montana, Tony and a couple buddies started an outdoor video production company, Stoney-Wolf Productions, one of the first companies of its kind in the outdoor space. Twelve years after forming the company Tony and his partners sold and Tony entered the outdoor non-profit space, first for the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, then Wonders of Wildlife Museum and Aquarium, and most recently the Boone and Crockett Club. Aside from his time in Springfield Tony has lived in Montana all his life with his wife Jennifer and two daughters, Carli and Brooke. Together they spend as much time outside as possible all seasons of the year. Tony’s life and his philosophy are driven by his favorite quote from Theodore Roosevelt:
“This land and its wildlife are not ours for the taking. We are simply borrowing it from future generations and we have the responsibility to give it to them in the same or better condition than it was passed to us.”


Director – Finance and Administration
Abra Loran - ext. 215 

Abra joined the Boone and Crockett Club 18 years ago while pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Accountancy at the University of Montana. She began her career with the Club as a Staff Accountant and was promoted to Controller in 2016 following the retirement of her mentor, Jan Krueger. In 2021, Abra advanced to the role of Director of Finance and Administration, where she broadened her knowledge and experience beyond accounting to include many other facets of the Club’s operations.  Outside of work, Abra and her husband Nick cherish spending time with their two daughters, making the most of every moment together.


Director - Communications
Jodi Stemler - ext. 217

Jodi has been on contract with the Boone and Crockett Club since 2020. She has a degree in natural resource management from Rutgers University and three decades of experience in conservation policy and communications. In 2005, she started consulting and has worked for some of the most well-known hunting and outdoor conservation organizations. Prior to that she was the director of communications for the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation. Jodi and her husband Casey (both professional members of B&C) live near Morrison, Colorado and spend plenty of time outdoors hunting and fishing with their daughter.

Karlie Slayer - ext. 211

Karlie was raised in Montana and moved to Washington to attend the Art Institute of Seattle where she graduated with a degree in Graphic Design. After living in Las Vegas after college she moved back to Missoula in 2009 to start her carreer with B&C. She enjoys making art, gardening, cooking, running, and spending time with her son and family. 


Director – Conservation Programs
Luke Coccoli

Luke Coccoli is based out of the Rasmuson Wildlife Conservation Center on the Club’s 6,000-acre Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Ranch near Dupuyer, Montana. He is a native Montanan and grew up along the Rocky Mountain Front in the small town of Choteau. He enjoys all methods of hunting, fly-fishing for trout and camping with his family and dogs. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Fish and Wildlife Management from Montana State University and a master’s degree in education - Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Montana.

Kyle M. Lehr - ext. 214

Originally from southcentral Pennsylvania Kyle moved to Montana in 2004 to attend the University of Montana. Growing up in the hardwoods of Appalachian foothills Kyle cut his teeth hunting bushy tails and whitetails, it was here that his love of hunting began. After college Kyle remained in Montana where he met his wife, and they have two wonderful children who fill most of his time with soccer.


Assistant Director - Big Game Records
Jennifer Schwab - ext. 207

Jennifer was born and raised in southern Oregon. She moved to Missoula in 2014 to attend The University of Montana and graduated with a B.S. in Wildlife Biology in 2021. She started with The Club in 2021 in the Records Data Support position, and moved into the role of Assistant Director of Big Game Records in October of 2023. When not at work, Jennifer lives a happy life of hunting and fishing with her husband, Daniel, and their three dogs, Josey, Tuco, and Jed.


Office Manager
Kate Thornburg - ext. 202

Kate was born and raised in Washington State. She moved to Montana in 2014 to pursue her love for event planning. She met her husband in 2016 and now has two amazing little boys. She loves her dogs and Jeeping in the mountains with her family any chance she gets.


Accounting Manager
Anne Labbe - ext. 201

Anne was born and raised in the Missoula area where she has lived most of her life. She spent many years working in the construction industry enjoying the many facets of the accounting world. In her spare time, you can find Anne enjoying the outdoors with her golf clubs, camping, and relaxing on the lake.


Digital Strategies Manager
Mark Mesenko - ext. 209 

Mark is a senior technology and communications strategist with over 30 years of experience in digital development, advertising, and operations. As Digital Strategist for the Boone and Crockett Club since 2012, he leads SEO, workflow automation, web architecture, and digital systems development.


Development Program Manager 
Jodi Bishop - ext. 212

Jodi grew up on Flathead Lake in Montana. She graduated from the University of Montana with a degree in Wildlife Biology in 1985 and worked for the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation until 2005. She has worked for Boone and Crockett nearly 20 years.


Conservation Education Programs Manager
Madison Todd

Madison supports youth and community engagement at the Rasmuson Wildlife Conservation Center, where she helps lead conservation education programs including field trips, summer camps, retreats, and backcountry adventures. She holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Montana State University and is certified as a Wilderness First Responder and Montana Master Naturalist. Her work centers on creating meaningful opportunities for kids and families to connect with wildlife, public lands, and the conservation legacy of the Boone and Crockett Club. Maddie is passionate about inspiring the next generation of conservationists through hands-on, place-based learning.


TRM Ranch Manager
Mike Briggs

Mike has been with the Club now for 15 years. Mike was born into a ranching family from Southwest Montana and has been involved with livestock production and land management throughout his whole life. He studied Animal Science and Ag Business at BYU Idaho. He and his wife Kadie have 4 children, KwinLee, Spencer, Hyrum and Reed. In recent years they have added a daughter in law Kaylin and now a grandson Denver to the family.


Membership Manager
Nicole Bodzewski - ext. 213
Originally from the windy city of Chicago, Nicole spent the last decade in colorful Colorado to earn her Bachelor's degree in Wildlife Biology, and a Master's degree focused on human-wildlife conflict. Her professional background is primarily in business development, where she's enjoyed helping others align actions with goals. After some time in the corporate tech sector, Nicole relocated to Missoula, MT for the opportunity to shift her career back to conservation. When not in the office, you can find Nicole active in the outdoors or cooking and baking.


Sales and Corporate Relations Manager
Michelle Scheuermann - ext. 218

Michelle is a contractor as the Sales and Corporate Rlations Manager, where she specializes in corporate sponsorships and building strong partnerships. Collaborating closely with Jodi Stemler, Michelle leverages her 20-plus years of expertise in the outdoor industry to elevate the Club’s mission.


Graphic Designer 
Ryan Johnson - ext. 219 
Ryan is a graphic designer from Great Falls, Montana, with four years of experience in graphic design, website design, and merchandise design. Ryan has crafted and produced major projects in his professional career, assisted in various advertisement campaigns and earned an award for his designs. In his spare time, Ryan enjoys spending time in the outdoors whether it be hunting, fishing or camping and being with family and friends.

TJ grew up in Helena, Montana and moved to Missoula to attend the University of Montana. She loves to travel, spend time with her family and friends and her dog Jax and cat Luna.


Writer - Managing Editor
PJ DelHomme
PJ has been working as a contractor with B&C since 2022. Since then, he has produced hundreds of articles on Club history, various programs, and records-and provided line edits on more than a few magazine articles. From his home in Missoula, he runs a small business, Crazy Canyon Media, delivering content to the Club and other conservation organizations. 


Conservation Policy Consultant
Charlie Booher
Charlie is a Consultant at Watershed Results who specializes in natural resource conflict resolution. He has the great privilege of representing some of this country’s oldest, largest, and most generous conservation organizations in Helena, Montana and in Washington, DC. Charlie is a Professional Member of the Boone and Crockett Club and an Associate Wildlife Biologist©. Outside of the office, you can find him hiking in the mountains of Western Montana and re-learning how to hunt and fish in the Northern Rockies.
